Resolved Known Issues

Resolved an issue in Room Suite v1.1.0 where a configuration could not be saved unless an NMT1 was present in the design, even when the minimum requirement of one NL Series speaker was met.

Features

The RoomSuite Modular System features full HDMI audio support across both RMP-100 HDMI inputs. This update enables audio ingest for both HDMI In 1 and HDMI In 2.

Room Manager pages now produce clean, professional output when using the browser's Print or Save as PDF functions, making it easy to generate polished records of system status during commissioning.

Room Manager now supports exporting and importing system configurations directly from the local web UI, no cloud connection required. A fully commissioned system's settings, including device pairing, configuration, and touch panel settings can be selectively backed up to a single archive file, then restored or replicated across additional systems.

RoomSuite Manager Software now supports enabling and disabling individual A/V LAN ports on the RMP-100 and QIO-VEN4, providing a straightforward way to restrict physical network access to only the ports in use. When a device configuration is saved, the administrator is prompted with the option to disable all unused ports. Ports with connected devices remain enabled. Port states can be adjusted at any time from the Devices page and persist across reboots.

The touch panel second page experience (SPE) in Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms modes now includes a speaker volume slider that controls loudspeaker playback volume for content audio sources such as HDMI and sound card inputs. The speaker icon also functions as a mute / unmute button.

The Devices page now includes a Reset button on the RMP-100 and QIO-VEN4 USB cards, allowing administrators to reset USB connections remotely without physically unplugging and reconnecting cables.

Setting up the RoomSuite Modular System is now more secure by default. During initial setup, administrators create a username and password to provision the system, ensuring it is protected and ready to use.

Resolved Known Issues

  • Resolved an issue where the RMS Devices page displayed the RMP-100 HDMI In (2) capability as "4K60" instead of "4K60 / Audio".
  • Resolved an issue where the TSC touch screen controller would remain dimmed when a laptop was connected in BYOD mode, even though the "Laptop Detected" notification was displayed.
  • Resolved an issue where the Room Manager user interface incorrectly displayed instructional text for basic and advanced color settings when in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) or Zoom Rooms (ZR) compatibility modes.
  • Resolved an issue in Room Manager where, when operating in MTR conferencing compatibility mode, icons on the Room Controls and Presets pages were not visible due to being rendered as white on a white background.
  • Resolved an issue in the Room Manager Audio Settings where the Dante configuration modal displayed inconsistent UI patterns for clearing drop-down selections.
  • Resolved an issue in the Room Manager UI where unsupported tabs and settings (such as Images, Home Pages, and Backlight) remained visible when in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) or Zoom Rooms (ZR) conferencing compatibility modes.
  • Resolved an issue in the Room Manager Audio Settings where the Control IP address for the Audio-Technica ATND1061 ceiling microphone would not persist or re-establish automatically after an RMP-100 reboot or power cycle.
  • Resolved an issue in the Room Manager Web UI where RS-232 and Ethernet display control commands were not retained after an RMP-100 reboot or power cycle.
  • Resolved an issue where dual displays connected to an RMP-100 could show video content with slight timing differences when sourced from a QIO-VEN4.

Updated mute and camera privacy indicators to use clearer, more consistent colors, making it easier to see when audio, video, or privacy controls are active or muted in Room Suite Modular System BYOD systems.

When using two cameras with RoomSuite Modular System, the camera preview is now tied to camera routing so that the preview accurately reflects the camera currently routed to the USB bridge, providing a clearer "what- you-see-is-what-you-get" experience.

The Devices page now reports PoE power as Allocated / Total instead of actual draw. This allows installers to quickly confirm that the switch has enough remaining power budget for additional peripherals. Actual live usage is still available as a tooltip when hovering over the power indicator.

To streamline setup and reduce missed steps, the Devices page now notifies you when unpaired Q-SYS devices are detected. A clear, dismissible alert appears during device discovery and persists across page refreshes until the device is paired or removed.

In BYOD mode, connected displays now go to sleep after 10 minutes of system idle time. TSC controllers now dim instead of powering off.

Resolved Known Issues

  • Resolved an issue where a disabled display could intermittently appear in the UCI.
  • Resolved an Issue where RMP-100 turns off CEC-enabled displays on startup.
  • Resolved an issue where NM-T1 Beam Wizard does not function when ID mode is on.
  • Resolved an issue where camera privacy is not disabled when a call begins.
  • Resolved an issue where the first HDMI cable connection to a QIO-VEN4 after reboot does not trigger the expected Source Detected popup in the UCI.
  • Resolved an issue when NM-T1 and NL speaker devices are dynamically paired, disconnected, and replaced with different device types, it results in an "Unknown" device message instead of the specific model name.
  • Resolved an issue where after the NC-90 exits Privacy Mode, the coordinate fields display "0 0 0".
  • Resolved an issue where the NC-90 would lose a saved Home Position after reboot and return to default 0,0,0 position when exiting privacy mode.
  • Resolved an Issue where Room System Optimization (RSO) incorrectly triggered warnings for measured values that were within target range.
  • Resolved an Issue where a linked display could show an incorrect available source on the control panel after unlinking.
  • Resolved an issue where the entire background on the UCI system page displays a non-functioning button.
  • Resolved an issue that caused an error when configuring Ethernet-connected displays.
  • Resolved an issue where help links on Q‑SYS Help pages could break after connectivity disruptions or firmware updates, resulting in undefined or 404 errors.
  • Resolved an issue with grammatical and formatting inconsistencies on the RMP-100 web UI.
  • Resolved an issue where the Idle color and pattern settings appeared configurable in the UI but had no effect, causing the Idle state to mirror mute/unmute behavior rather than function as an independently configurable state.
  • Resolved an issue where the Call Sync Idle settings—Idle Color and Idle Pattern—appeared configurable, but had no effect when changed. These settings now respond to user configuration.
  • Resolved an issue in which, on an RMS system with an NL-SB42 soundbar, selecting the "Default" audio snapshot caused the NL-SB42 gain to be set 4 dB higher than its out-of-box default setting.
