Network Settings > Basic
The Network Settings page provides network identification, Wi-Fi configuration, and device identification tools for the RoomSuite Collaboration Bar.
Identity Device
Click Identify Device to cause the collaboration bar to show flashing yellow LEDs. Use this feature during installation to confirm you are connected to the correct bar when multiple units are in proximity.
Host Name
The host name is editable and represents the network name reported by the device. It is distinct from the system name displayed in the Manager interface header.
Wired Network Interfaces
Wired network parameters (IP address, subnet, gateway) are not configured through RoomSuite Collaboration Bar Manager. Because the collaboration bar is a Windows-based device, wired network configuration is administered through Windows settings or Microsoft Teams Rooms administration tools.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi provides an alternative or supplemental network connection. Use it when a wired Ethernet connection is not available at the installation location.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable/Disable | Turns the Wi-Fi radio on or off. |
| Network Selection | When enabled, select and connect to an available Wi-Fi network from the list. |
