Access
RoomSuite Collaboration Bar Manager is the local web application hosted by the RoomSuite Collaboration Bar. Use it to configure, monitor, and manage the device and its connected peripherals directly from a browser on the same network. Below are instructions on accessing the local web application.
Before You Begin
-
You must know the IP address of the RoomSuite Collaboration Bar.
-
Your client device must be on the same local network as the bar.
-
The local Manager interface is not intended for remote configuration. For remote monitoring and administration, register the device with Q-SYS Reflect.
-
A Microsoft Teams Rooms license must be assigned to the device. The RoomSuite Collaboration Bar will not function without a valid Teams Rooms license.
Signing In
-
Open a web browser on a device connected to the same local network as the collaboration bar.
-
Enter the IP address of the collaboration bar in the browser address bar.
-
Sign in with your administrator username and password. (First sign in will require the creation of the password.)
Navigating the Interface
-
The left navigation panel provides access to all configuration and monitoring pages. It can be collapsed to maximize workspace.
-
The application title displays as RoomSuite Collaboration Bar Manager.
-
The current system name appears in the top area of the interface.
-
Configuration changes require Edit Mode. Click the edit icon to enable changes, then save when complete. This behavior is consistent with other Q-SYS Manager applications.
Version Information
The application version is displayed in the lower-left corner of the Manager interface. The Manager web application supports automatic over-the-air updates from the Q-SYS cloud update server. The bar does not need to be registered to Reflect to receive these updates, but it does need internet access.
Note: During an OTA update, the Manager interface may become temporarily unreachable. This is expected behavior and the interface will return once the update completes and the device regains network connectivity.
