Status (NL Series, NM Series, QIO Series)
The Status component for the NL Series network loudspeakers and QIO Series network expanders provides health information about these devices, including overall status, network information, detected power, and audio stream health (NL Series only).

Name
The Name may contain ASCII letters 'a' through 'z' (case-insensitive), the digits '0' through '9', and the hyphen. Names cannot begin or end with a hyphen. No other symbols, punctuation characters, or blank spaces are permitted.
Location
User-defined name that groups the component with other components in the same physical location, or in the same organizational scheme.
Is Required
When enabled, and the device is not found on the network, the device is reported as 'Missing', which is an error condition. This is the default behavior. When disabled, and the device is not found on the network, the device is reported as 'Not Present', which is not an error condition.
Dynamically Paired
Indicates that this virtual component can be paired with the same type of hardware without changing the network ID of the hardware or the name of this component. Refer to the Q-SYS Core Manager Dynamic Pairing topic for more information. The default is 'No'.
PoE+ Enable
(NL Series only) Determines whether the loudspeaker advertises itself on the network as a PoE+ capable device, which affects how the loudspeaker uses the PoE power budget of the connected power supply. The default is 'No' (disabled).

If set to 'Yes' and the loudspeaker is connected to a PoE+ Type 2 Class 4 capable power supply, the output is boosted and the Power > PoE+ control turns green.

If set to 'Yes' and the loudspeaker is not connected to a PoE+ Type 2 Class 4 capable power supply, the Power > PoE+ control is off and the Power > PoE control turns green.

If set to 'Yes' but the connected power supply fails to allocate full PoE+ power to the loudspeaker, the Status changes to Compromised.
Verbose
When set to 'Yes', a Details section appears in the control panel that displays device statistics and any errors, along with a Reset button to reset the statistics to zero.
Status
ID
Click to flash the Status LED (yellow) under the NL Series loudspeaker grille or the ID LED (green) on the front of the QIO Series peripheral. The indicator flashes indefinitely until you press the ID button again.
Status
Component status is conveyed with the Status LED and Status box, which uses both color and text to indicate the current condition:
- OK: The device is functioning normally.
- Initializing: The device is in the process of a firmware or configuration update, or the design is starting.
- Compromised: The device is functioning, but a non-fatal problem exists. Refer to the Status box for details.
- Missing: The device cannot be discovered.
- Fault: The device is malfunctioning or is not properly configured. Refer to the Status box for details.
- Unknown: This status appears during a Core reboot (for example, during a firmware update), or when a design is being uploaded to the Core and before it has started running.
- Not Present: If applicable to the device, this status appears when the device is not connected to the network and its Is Required component property is set to 'No'. This status also appears if the device component's Dynamically Paired property is set to 'Yes', pairing has not been assigned in Core Manager, and the device component's Is Required property is set to 'Yes'. Clock Offset
For NL Series loudspeakers and QIO Series Audio I/O Expanders, this indicates how much of an offset exists, in microseconds, between the peripheral and the network Grandmaster.
Grandmaster
For NL Series and QIO Series Audio I/O Expanders, this indicates the current clock master of the network.
Parent Port
For NL Series and QIO Series Audio I/O Expanders, the clock Parent Port is the device and interface name to which the device is syncing. Typically, this is the Grandmaster.
Processor Temp
The current temperature, in Celsius, of the peripheral's central processing unit.
Chassis Temp
For QIO Series Audio I/O Expanders only, this is the current temperature, in Celsius, of the device chassis.
Chassis Fan
For QIO Series Audio I/O Expanders only, this indicates the current RPMs of the device chassis fan.
Details
This section only appears when the Verbose property is set to 'Yes', and displays device statistics and any error conditions. Click Reset Details to clear the information.
Audio Stream
Note: This section appears only for NL Series peripherals.
Output Ok
This LED glows green when the QLAN audio stream is successfully being received by the loudspeaker.
Power
The controls shown in this section depend on the connected device.

PoE
Glows green if the loudspeaker is not connected to a PoE+ Type 2 Class 4 capable power supply.
PoE+
Glows green if the loudspeaker is connected to a PoE+ Type 2 Class 4 capable power supply.
PoE Active
Glows green when the device is connected to a PoE power supply.
DC Power
Glows green when the device is connected to a DC power supply.
Note: Available control pins depend on the specific peripheral model.
