CDN64 – Dante Audio Bridge Card
The CDN64 card provides a link for up to 64x64 channels at 48 kHz from any Dante™ edge network, such as wireless microphones and digital mixers, directly into the Q-SYS ecosystem for advanced processing and redistribution over Q-LAN for larger LAN and WAN IT infrastructures.
The CDN64 offers sample rate conversion between the Dante network and Q-SYS. In addition, Q-SYS can bridge between CobraNet, AVB, Q-LAN, and Dante, providing the corresponding cards are installed.
For documents and other information, see the I/O Cards product page.

Interface Dante-enabled 'front-of-house' input sources with 'back-of-house' or 'facility-wide' Q-SYS solutions. The CDN64 Dante Bridge Card is ideal for use in performance venues such as theaters, auditoriums, convention centers, and houses of worship.

The CDN64 card is Type 2 hardware.
Type 2 hardware provides new cables and connectors between the I/O cards and main boards in Cores and I/O Frames. Due to this change, the Type 2 hardware is not physically compatible with the older hardware. You can still integrate the new I/O Frames and Cores in the same system with older hardware, but the I/O cards are not interchangeable. Type 2 hardware can be identified by a yellow label on the back of the Core and I/O Frame, and the bottom of the I/O cards.

Note: The Q-SYS Core 510i processor supports two CDN64 cards. If two cards are used and are both are set to 64x64, no other expansion cards can be used, as the Core 510i supports up to 128x128 local audio channels.
