Media Stream Transmitter

The Media Stream Transmitter compresses and streams audio over the network. Source material (audio and/or video, live or recorded) is transmitted over the network to a receiver where an end user can listen to, watch, and/or record the media. To send the media over a network, the transmitter must use a set of rules (the protocol), and the receiver must be able to interpret the media by using the same protocol.
