Summary:This release improves intelligent framing, multi-participant video handling, and meeting stability for supported unified communications platforms, including Microsoft Teams Rooms.

What's improved?

Intelligent video and framing

  • Improved multi-participant tile view: Updated framing logic helps prevent room views and participants from being cropped incorrectly when four or more people are visible.

  • Removed duplicate participant tiles: Fixed an issue where people sitting close together could appear more than once in Tile View or Active Speaker framing modes.

  • Smoother lens transitions: Resolved intermittent black bars that could briefly appear while the camera changed lenses during automatic framing.

  • More accurate frame padding: Corrected the Tight and Wide framing options so they apply the expected margins around participants.

  • More natural speaker switching: Fine-tuned cross-talk delay handling to improve camera transitions between active speakers.

Stability and reliability

  • Improved Microsoft Teams meeting stability: Fixed a rare issue where changing participant layout settings in Tile View during an active meeting could freeze the video feed or display a black screen.

  • Settings now persist correctly: Resolved an issue where Room View intelligent video configuration changes did not persist between sessions.

What's improved?

Deployment and recovery

  • More reliable Windows Update installation: Fixed an issue that could cause RoomSuite Bar Control or QAIO Service installation to stop unexpectedly or fail to complete during automated deployment.

  • Improved Windows reset recovery: Fixed an issue where using Windows “Reset this PC” could leave internal backend services unavailable to network and management connections after the reset completed.

Camera and video controls

  • Reliable camera mode switching: Fixed issues that could prevent camera mode changes from saving, display “Intelligent Video update timed out” errors, or cause camera modes to cycle unexpectedly in RCB Manager.

Device and peripheral management

  • Accurate controller connection status: Fixed an intermittent issue where disconnecting a room controller was not consistently reported to the management API.

System configuration

  • Consistent time zone handling: Fixed an issue where the system could return inconsistent time zone identifiers, preventing subsequent time zone changes from being applied successfully.
